Arranging the Funeral

If you would like us to look after the funeral arrangements, call us anytime and we will arrange to meet you either in our office or at your home.

Each funeral is unique and we can help you plan the service you require, including:-

• If the committal is to be burial or cremation.
• If there is to be a service in the crematorium chapel or a church service.
• Hymns/music.
• Service stationery.
• Floral tributes.
• Notice in the newspaper.
• The clothes that you would like your loved one dressed in.
• Choosing a coffin.
• Limousines.
• Donations.

You may have other requirements that aren't listed above e.g. a horse drawn carriage, a bugler or a piper, for these or any other requests please call us on 01244 544845 or 01244 638818.

Once you have given us your instructions we will personally take care of all the arrangements.

We will keep you informed every step of the way and we are available 24 hours a day for any questions you may have.

How soon can the funeral take place?

In most cases you should allow 10-15 working days to make all the funeral arrangements and notify family and friends. Our advice is not to rush and for you to try to take time in getting everything planned, at what is an incredibly difficult time in anyone’s life.

Seasonal factors may also directly influence the time in which cremations, in particular, can be booked. This may result in a longer than normal period before the funeral can take place.

Either way, we will endeavour to work to your timescales and we will support and advise you in your choices throughout the arrangements.
