A Choice of Funeral Arrangements: -

Cremation Only Option (Direct cremation)

Personal Funeral Service Option

We have partnered with Memoria, one of the UKs largest crematoria groups, to be able to offer a choice of funerals.

For some people the ‘no fuss, no frills’ option of a direct cremation with no service is what they have in mind.

Some would prefer an attended service, giving them an opportunity to celebrate their loved one's life, pay their respects and say goodbye.

We have chosen to work in partnership with our local Memoria crematorium (Flintshire Memorial Park & Crematorium), to offer families the Personal Funeral Service as an affordable alternative to a direct cremation.

Specifically created for families who want a simple, dignified, attended service, the Personal Funeral has been priced at £1,675.00 (see below) to help give families the opportunity to say goodbye, locally, and at selected times in the morning.

And we also offer a local unattended direct cremation – priced at £1190.00 (see below) - if that is preferred.

Please contact us directly, to find out more.

Cremation Only Option

Flintshire Crematorium - £1190.00

(Plus Doctor's fee of £82.00 if applicable)

This is our lowest priced option and is a Direct Cremation - meaning that the deceased is cremated without mourners attending a funeral service at the crematorium.

The cremation will take place as soon as the necessary paperwork has been completed, at the above crematorium, but at a date and time convenient to us. We would advise you of when the cremation is to take place in order that you may organise your own private memorial service if you wish.

        This plan would be suitable:-

  • For people who are carrying out the wishes of their deceased relative or friend who have requested a simple service with 'no fuss'.
  • For someone who may have no family able to attend a funeral service.
  • For family who wish to spend the money saved on a traditional service on a more personal, unique way of celebrating the life of their loved one.
  • For people struggling to finance a funeral service.

        The plan includes:-

  • Bringing the deceased into our care (within 20 miles).
  • Providing the facilities to care for the deceased until the funeral.
  • Meeting you at our office to discuss the funeral arrangements and sign the statutory paperwork.
  • Preparing the deceased and dressing them in their own clothes.

  • Taking the deceased from our chapel of rest to the crematorium in a suitable vehicle and provision of the necessary staff.
  • Scattering of the ashes in the Garden of Remembrance or returning them to the next of kin in a suitable container.

A deposit is required towards third party costs on all of our funeral plans, the minimum being the cost of the cremation or burial fee. An invoice for the remaining balance will be sent 7-10 days after the funeral has taken place and will be due within 30 days, unless alternative arrangements have been discussed.
